Chamber membership dues is calculated by the number of employees from a company. Two part-time employees equal one full time employee. There is a $25 one-time set-up fee when a business initially joins the chamber.
#2 - When is it time to renew my membership?
Memberships are for one year. New memberships are renewable 12 months from when you first join. Most existing members come due at the first of the year.
#3 - Is participation in Chamber events mandatory?
No, but we highly recommend that you take advantage of workshops, Business After Hours and other activities. The more you become involved the more you will gain from a membership.
#4 - Does my business need to be located in Kernersville to be a member of the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce.
No. Anyone wishing to market their goods or services in Kernersville are welcome and encouraged to join the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce. Many businesses join other chambers in addition to ours, because their market area is wider than just Kernersville.

There are many opportunities, including on our website, sponsorship of special events, email distribution of flyers, etc.
#6 - What Leadership programs does the Kernersville Chamber offer?
Leadership Kernersville is conducted each year, and has an alumni list of 200 community leaders since its inception in 1993. This program currently operates September through May, meeting once a month for a full day. Topics include: economic development, regionalism, education, history, law enforcement, government, health care and human services. Some of our Leadership Kernersville graduates go on to participate in Piedmont Triad Network, a program that networks together leaders from the 12-county Piedmont Triad area.

Yes, a limited number of scholarships are available. Individuals requesting scholarship consideration are asked to submit a brief letter along with their application for Leadership Kernersville.
