Business founded Fourth Elm Construction was founded in 2015

Present owners: Partners are John Martin, Justin Gibhardt and Kevin Masten

Number of employes We have 58 Triad employees and 67 statewide employees.

Products or services offered: We offer an array of commercial construction services such as
construction management, general contracting, design-build and facility services management across
NC, SC, TN & VA. We specialize In Automotive, Industrial, Institutional, Medical, Mixed-Use, MultiFamily, Office and Retail, Senior living and Storage. From Large to Small Projects

We opened our Kernersville Headquarters in 2020 and just recently opened our Charlotte Office
Location last May in 2022.

Chamber involvement: Kevin is on the EDAC committee.

Involvement in community projects: We are heavily involved in our Kernersville community from the
Kernersville Christmas Parade to Community Golf Tournaments.

Involvement in Civic clubs: Partner Kevin Masten is a member of the Rotary Club, YMCA Board and
Kernersville Museum Board.

Plans: Strategic growth plan. With growth being one of our core principles, we have assembled a
Strategic Growth Plan to guide us as a team. Our motto this year is Upstream which reminds us to
think ahead so that we can always grow and improve as a team
