Congratulations to our May 2024 Business of the Month - UnderPar Golf Lounge

Congratulations to the staff at UnderPar Golf Lounge on being selected as Business of the Month for May by the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce.

UnderPar Golf Lounge was founded in December of 2021 by husband and wife duo, Tom and Kerri Underhill.  The idea formed 6 months earlier after they realized that Kernersville needed another place for residents to gather for entertainment.  Kerri and Tom both come from entrepreneurial families and backgrounds.  Tom wanted a sports bar and Kerri wanted a party and event venue.  They combined their interests into UnderPar.

UnderPar Golf Lounge offers a place for friends and groups to gather.  Their indoor golf facility allows people to enjoy nearly 100 different courses.  It also brings accessibility to the sport by allowing folks to play and learn the game at their pace and the facility is handicap accessible.  So, rain or shine, hot or cold, it is always a good time to gather for a round of golf.  Playing in the confined space also enables more socialization than a typical golfing experience would allow.  This makes their venue a great place to gather for birthday parties or corporate outings.  In addition to playing your favorite courses, UnderPar Golf Lounge also offers all your favorite skills games and challenges.  Golf enthusiasts can also use the facility to improve their game by using the VIEW program to record your swing and offer suggestions for adjustments.  Patrons can join leagues and purchase monthly memberships that allow for unlimited access by appointment.  And to satisfy Tom’s desire for a sports bar, UnderPar golf lounge offers beer and wine for sale.  There are also 5 televisions that can be tuned in to your favorite game any time.

For Tom and Kerri, a sense of community is an important part of their business.  In addition to being Members of the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, Kerri is on the Golf Tournament Committee and the Women in Business Committee.  They support our local schools, Brenner’s Children Hospital and Touch the Troops with a local radio Station.  They also collect donations for our local food banks.
