Dana Caudill Jones, a lifelong resident of Kernersville has been described as a “game changer” for the community. Dana is a model of a successful businesswoman who uses her intelligence, common sense, and experience to make good, ethical decisions. Her sincerity shows she cares deeply about the community and its people. Her character and values demonstrate her personal faith every day. Named one of the Triad’s 40 Leaders under 40 in 2006, Kernersville’s Citizen of the Year in 2012 and the recipient of the Community Distinguished Service Award in 2016.
Ms. Jones is the President of Caudill’s, a second-generation family owned electrical, security, data, and A/V company, that she manages with her husband David. She is a longtime community activist who has served on numerous boards and held public office.
She is currently serving her second term on the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education. She just completed serving as Chairman of the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Board of Education for the past four years. Dana served five terms on the Kernersville Board of Aldermen and was the town’s Mayor Pro Tem from 2011 to 2013.
In addition to her elected offices, she serves on the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is a graduate of High Point University, and member of Reynolda Church. Dana and her husband David have one son, Eli.
