Smart Start: Raising Forsyth 2026

On behalf of Smart Start of Forsyth County, I am reaching out to request that the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce consider adding our upcoming event, Raising Forsyth 2026: Party Like It’s 1999, to your community events calendar.

Raising Forsyth 2026: Party Like It’s 1999
Friday, April 10, 2026
5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The Millennium Center
101 W. 5th Street
Downtown Winston-Salem

This year’s event features a Prince-inspired theme, bringing together leaders from the business, civic, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors for an evening focused on strengthening early childhood systems and investing in the future of our community.

Guests will enjoy:
• Reception and networking
• Dinner
• Live entertainment
• A live DJ and dance floor
• Special recognition and awards
• Two drink tickets per attendee

Attire: Semi-formal, with Prince-inspired style encouraged in celebration of this year’s “Party Like It’s 1999” theme.

Raising Forsyth will convene approximately 200 community leaders, early childhood providers, business partners, elected officials, and philanthropic supporters who share a commitment to supporting young children and families.

Proceeds from the event support the mission of Smart Start of Forsyth County:
To promote equitable access to quality, comprehensive early childhood development and education in response to the needs of our community.

Funds raised help serve more than 15,000 children and families each year through programs including:

• Emergency childcare assistance and child care scholarships
• Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
• The S.T.A.R. Family Resource Center
• Professional development for early childhood educators
• Basic needs support such as our community Diaper Bank

Early bird tickets are available for $100 through March 23, 2026. Tickets will increase to $125 after March 23.
