Join us in honoring the brave men and women who have served our country at the 2nd Annual Kernersville Veterans Parade. This heartfelt event will take place on November 10th @2:30pm, and we invite everyone in the community to come together to pay tribute to our veterans and celebrate their unwavering dedication and sacrifice.
The parade will feature a magnificent display of patriotic floats, marching bands, military vehicles, and community groups, all proudly marching through the streets of downtown Kernersville. The route (Downtown Main Street and Beard Street) will be lined with American flags and cheering spectators, creating a festive and respectful atmosphere as we salute our heroes.
Following the parade, we invite veterans and their families to attend the Hero's Welcome, a special ceremony at The Kernersville Farmer's Market. The ceremony will include a presentation of colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, and the National Anthem, followed by the stirring songs of each military branch. To further honor our veterans, The Summit will provide a delicious meal for veterans and their families, creating an opportunity for fellowship and reflection on this important day.
Participants will include local veterans' organizations, active-duty military personnel, and various civic groups, all coming together to show their support and gratitude. The parade will culminate in a special ceremony at The Farmer's Market, where distinguished speakers will share their reflections, and a moment of silence will be observed to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Bring your family and friends to this inspiring event and show your support for our veterans. Let's unite as a community to recognize the courage and commitment of those who have served and continue to serve our nation. We look forward to seeing you at the Kernersville Veterans Parade, a day of pride, patriotism, and heartfelt appreciation.
