Amanda Hughes

Amanda is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Hughes Safety Compliance & Sustainability Solutions, a North Carolina–based firm supporting organizations with workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

With over a decade of experience in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) leadership and consulting, Amanda partners with manufacturing, construction, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations to strengthen compliance programs and build sustainable safety cultures. Her work focuses on practical, operations-driven solutions, including OSHA compliance assessments, program development, leadership coaching, and employee training.

Amanda is known for translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance that aligns with real-world operations. She partners closely with leadership teams to reduce risk, improve consistency, and support long-term organizational growth.

In addition to her consulting practice, Amanda is actively engaged in community and professional organizations and is passionate about supporting small and mid-sized businesses as they grow safely and responsibly.

She lives in Kernersville with her husband and is proud to support the Kernersville business community through collaboration, education, and service.
