Zachary Grist

I’m Zachary Grist, the founder/CEO of Piedmont Decks. I’ve been building for as long as I can remember — it started when I was a kid and quickly turned into a lifelong passion for working with my hands and doing things the right way. I grew up in Ohio, where I learned the value of hard work, showing up, and taking pride in what you build.
After years of hands-on experience, I started Piedmont Decks to create a company focused on quality craftsmanship, honesty, and strong relationships. While I take pride in building solid decks, porches, and screened porches, my favorite part of the business has always been the people. I enjoy getting to know homeowners, understanding how they use their space, and building something that truly adds value to their home.
