December 2019 Business of the Month
Congratulations to Sunni Lauten and the Kernersville Office of Coldwell Banker Triad for being selected as the Kernersville Chamber’s Business of the Month for December, 2019.
Coldwell Banker is a 113-year old company which has been able to survive through the depression, world wars, and several economic downfalls.
The Kernersville Office (Coldwell Banker Triad) was born July 1, 1997 through the merger of 3 of the Triad’s oldest and most respected real estate firms: Coldwell Banker Lambe-Young of Winston Salem, Hubbard Realty Sales Division also of Winston-Salem and Coldwell banker Joyner, Price and Britt of High Point and Greensboro. It housed 36 agents and was led by CEO and President, Beverly Godfrey who is the 2nd generation of a real estate family. On November 2, 2019 Coldwell Banker Triad combined with its Triangle counterpart to form a firm with more than 550 agents and 18 offices.
The combined firm will keep the Coldwell Banker Advantage brand and be among the first affiliates nationwide to use the company’s new North Star logo beginning in January, 2020. The North Star is a visual representation of the brand’s commitment to excellence, with a fresh, stylish look that still pays homage to the storied 113-year history.
Year after year, Coldwell Banker is at the top of the REAL Trends survey and continues to out-produce every other national brand. Combined the Coldwell Banker Advantage family is ranked as the #1 Coldwell Banker Franchise in NC and #2 in the United States. The Coldwell Banker Advantage family of companies has received the Coldwell Banker Chairman’s Circle award each year since 1992. This designation is only given to the top 6% of all Coldwell Banker franchises each year.
For over a century, Coldwell Banker has stood for something unique in the world of real estate. A star, shining bright. Blazing with passion, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. The Coldwell Banker core vales of Home, Awesomeness, Ingenuity, and Excellence are what define who they are. It’s all about helping people and they are “with you all the way” from start to finish.
Speaking to Sunni Lauten, the Broker in Charge and Manager for the Kernersville Office, Kernersville is the “sweet spot of the triad” being in the center of the state and only 20 minutes from Winston-Salem, Greensboro or High Point. It’s a great place to live and raise a family. Many of her 72 agents do just that, and have been with Coldwell Banker Triad over 20, 30 and 40 years.
They don’t just work and live here. They care about the community and participate in numerous community and nonprofit endeavors, committees, boards, etc. to make a positive difference in the lives of others. They are involved with Breast Cancer Awareness, Home for Dogs Projects, Veterans, and the Food Bank. They collect Coats for Kids and Toys for Tots and after Christmas they continue to collect and bring toys to Brenner’s Children’s Hospital. They volunteer for Meals on Wheels, participate in the Canned Food Drives, and provide meals for kids out of school in the summer and for seniors in the winter.
