Magnolias and Mimosas
Hi y’all! My name is Taylor DuBois and I am the Programs and Membership Director here at the Kernersville Chamber. That’s a really long title to basically say that I get to work with a lot of our awesome volunteers and members to plan really great events to help you grow your business! The staff team at the Chamber is so excited to bring you a new website AND a blog! Each month we will feature fun events that are happening in our town and our Chamber.
For our first blog, we have an amazing NEW event called Magnolias and Mimosas! We have a brand new Women in Business Committee who are working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event a huge success. What is Magnolias and Mimosas? Honestly, you don’t even need to hear more event details just go ahead and reserve your $25 ticket now…hello…mimosas! Saturday, April 21st from 10AM-12PM we are going to be at the beautiful Magnolia Bride in Downtown Kernersville showing off all the strong women we have in our community. Dana Caudill Jones from the WSFCS School Board, JaFonda Johnson is the branch manager of Truliant Federal Credit Union and Hanna Leonard the first ever female SWAT team member at the Kernersville Police Department are just a few examples of the ladies that will be modeling. They will be wearing clothing items from local boutiques like MisMatch, Accent Prone and Mainstream. We will have delicious brunch foods from local restaurants and of course, mimosas! Our emcee for the event is Alderman Jenny Fulton and all profits from the ticket sales go to Next Step Ministries. We have partnered with Truliant Federal Credit Union to provide our community this great event. We really appreciate their support and that of our community! To date, we have only 13 tickets left out of 84! And this is the first time we have ever done this event!
You are not going to want to miss out on this- email me at Taylordubois@kernersvillenc.com to reserve your ticket today! Hope to see you there!
