Edward Jones-Larry Redfearn July Business of the Month

As you walk through the downtown Kernersville business and shopping district, you will see the Edward Jones office of Larry Redfearn. Larry joined Edward Jones about ten years ago after a long career in retail management working for Sears and Jockey International. Larry started his career with Jones working out of another advisor’s office. The opportunity came for Larry to take over the location in downtown Kernersville and he gladly accepted the opportunity. Larry felt the location and foot traffic of the downtown district would be good for his business. He enjoys the support that all the surrounding business show each other and the sense of community that exists downtown. He could not think of a better place to build a business.

Larry’s Edward Jones office focuses on financial planning. He helps people plan for retirement and manage their assets, while they enjoy retired life. Larry also helps clients plan the most effective way to pass on their wealth to the people they love, using insurance products and other investments in the stock market. Larry says “ Finding out what is most important to the clients and building a plan to help clients achieve those goals” is his number one priority. The success of his business continues because of his assistant Sharon Tucker. Sharon’s dedication to the clients and hard work have made a great partnership Larry says. Larry is thankful for all the time and effort Sharon has committed to helping him build the business. Larry has recently had the opportunity to bring on two additional experienced advisors, Jordan Davis and Lizz Sanders, to continue to grow the practice and prepare for a long future in the Kernersville community.

Larry is very active in the community. He serves on the board for the Korner’s Folly Foundation. He is the chairperson for the Octoberfest fundraiser for the Korner’s Folly Foundation. Larry is a member of the Kernersville Rotary club and loves to serve food to all the hungry guest at the annual Kernersville Spring Folly. He has served on the Kernersville Chamber Board in the past. Larry is a past chairperson and serves on the Kernersville Chamber Governmental Affairs committee. He serves as the finance chair at Bunker Hill UMC and is active with the church’s Bethany Café, which serves meals to the community once a month. To say that Larry is busy helping the people of Kernersville would be an understatement.
